Here is the hat that I created for my son

and one with my son actually wearing it.

Cute right? I was so excited about the hat. I’m even more excited about this next hat I’m doing, its creative, not seen another one thats crocheted like it before. Stay toned I promise I have more in store.

So I have finished all the squares, just need to finish decorating them. The picture I am about to show, I have went a lot further, I have all the pink ready to have the heart added to them, working on white now.

So this is it for now, will update again when I start sewing pieces together.

Well onto other things, Yesterday was my 28th birthday, so I’m officially a year older… Can’t wait till the weekend, we are going out, and having some fun. My mom is keep Seth for 2 days, and he’ll have fun there . He is excited lol, he keeps asking if its Friday yet.

My husband and I have decided to try for another baby, well kinda, we aren’t preventing, but we’ve discussed it, and he doesn’t care if I get pregnant, but at the same time he does, because he is a worried wart, but he knows if it happens it happens. Myself, I can’t wait, I believe if we are to have another child, the time is now, we need to work on it, Seth is almost 7 and if we have another, he’ll be 7 when he or she is born. I would love a little girl, but as long as the baby is healthy I don’t mind, I have names for both.  I can’t wait till April to get here to find out one way or another lol… I am charting, so thats good I guess.

Well I’ll be updating as I go with the blanket …

The colors are going to be an off white, with a reddish purpleish flower, the color of the yarn is stunning. I’m using Lion Brand yarn, and the yarn feels like velvet, its so soft and I just can’t wait to finish it.

I guess that is about all..

Ain’t it cute? hehe… Now I just need to mail it off to her.

I am gonna work on another hat for another friend soon, so this is the only update I have right now.

So let me ask you guys something, if you had a friend who you use to talk to like all the time, you went to each other all the time for advice, all the sudden quit coming to you after you introduced this friend to someone else, they became better friends then the 2 of you are, however you get frustrated and quit trying because its evident that yeah you guys might still love each other as friends, but at the same time this person puts you off unless the other person is no where around. Then this person comes to you, how would you feel?

I am going through this, and quit frankly I’m friends with both of them but it makes me mad that I can’t talk to this person without this person talking on and on about this other person, I am so happy they are friends, however, I miss our friendship as well. Just kinda annoyed, this person NEVER talks to me unless this person needs something from me or the other person is not around to talk to about things. I don’t know, I just feel put off.

I guess that is my rant.

It is after 1am, so I’m about to head to bed, but I wanted to let you guys know I’m still alive haha!

My husband bought me a Wii for my 28th birthday, but my birthday is not till March, however, I got it early because we got it with our income tax, and well I wanted one so bad, plus I got the wii fit! I tell ya, I love that thing. He spoiled me, which I do think I deserved hehe…

Now after we got home from buying this, my husband found out from a friend of ours, who worked with him, and works on his side of the shop, that he was laid off, and now they are doing lay off’s on his side of the shop. SO! My husband could be laid off anytime now, however, we think he has at least 2 months left. If he does, they might get one of these bids in that the job has put in. HOPEFULLY! if you pray, please pray they do. This is the best paying job my husband has ever had, and well its decent, and we live comfortably and would hate to go from that, to unemployment and living off food stamps. (there is nothing wrong with that, for people who have too, its people who do it that don’t really need it, that bug me, however I do not want to go this rout).

Ok well now onto something else. I been exercising my bum off. I got my Wii about 3 days ago, and already lost 1 1/2 lbs woohoo! I am so sore and so tired right now, however, it’ll be worth it in the long run woop!

Crocheting, well I’m still working on a hat, today my grandmother came over with a big bag of yarn lol, this yarn feels like velvet its so soft haha… I can’t wait to make something out of it. I have like 10 of these bundles of yarn she bought me.  After I get done with the white hat I am making, I have a hat to make for a friend, its a surprise though haha…

Tomorrow, or well today I guess since its 1:15am… I am cooking a roast, so I’ll be in the kitchen most the day, I still want to make Donuts for my son, however, I know I’ll be tempted to eat one, and knowing me, I’ll want more then one, so I better hold off till I can build my will power up. YES I am on a diet, but I rather call it a life style.

Ok well I’m going to bed! Goodnight!

I am so very tired, I sometimes take a nape after I drop my son off, but I want to be tired by 10pm and go to bed early, so I can be well rested for my son’s meeting tomorrow. Well its my meeting with my son’s teacher. See his report card came in Monday, and just say it wasn’t too good. He did worse this 6 weeks then he did last 6 weeks. So I get to go to a meeting. Fun!

Today I need to clean up the kitchen, I went to bed at midnight last night and didn’t worry about cleaning up, which I should have, but I been working on a project. I need to empty the dish washer, and reload, I need to find the swifter, and get the cat hair out from under the sofa, and do around the edges of the stair case. Then I need to sweep the kitchen and maybe mop. I would like to make some homemade donuts for my son, but I’m really tired so I might not. Plus I am still working on a project and feel like there just isn’t enough time in one day.
