A new update

Sorry it has been awhile since I have updated this blog. I’ve been working hard on this blanket, and finally I see a light at the end! YAY!

So I have finished all the squares, just need to finish decorating them. The picture I am about to show, I have went a lot further, I have all the pink ready to have the heart added to them, working on white now.

So this is it for now, will update again when I start sewing pieces together.

Yet another update

So the blanket I am working on is coming alone, just not fast enough lol. I’m at #12 for squares, I took yesterday off from crocheting, but back on track today, I think I am going to get all the squares out then work on hearts, then tie them together afterwards, maybe that’ll make it go faster…

Well onto other things, Yesterday was my 28th birthday, so I’m officially a year older… Can’t wait till the weekend, we are going out, and having some fun. My mom is keep Seth for 2 days, and he’ll have fun there . He is excited lol, he keeps asking if its Friday yet.

My husband and I have decided to try for another baby, well kinda, we aren’t preventing, but we’ve discussed it, and he doesn’t care if I get pregnant, but at the same time he does, because he is a worried wart, but he knows if it happens it happens. Myself, I can’t wait, I believe if we are to have another child, the time is now, we need to work on it, Seth is almost 7 and if we have another, he’ll be 7 when he or she is born. I would love a little girl, but as long as the baby is healthy I don’t mind, I have names for both.  I can’t wait till April to get here to find out one way or another lol… I am charting, so thats good I guess.

Guess thats about it really.

Blanket update

So I have finally finished the first row, 5 squares per row. I’m thinking 30 squares all together should do it, but I’m not sure, guess we’ll find out. I am almost done with the 1st square for next row.

So I still have a lot more to do, however I hope in the next 2 weeks I’ll be done

Been awhile

It has been a while. I apologize about that. However I have a few things done. I am working on baby shower gifts. So far I have 2 hats and a pair of booties created, I am working on squares for a blanket. I won’t call them granny squares because they aren’t, I did not follow a pattern, I just did what I thought might look good. I have some pictures of the things I’ve done and I’ll keep you updated on my first blanket progress .
